The 1,110-acre master-planned community of Scottsdale Ranch is located in Scottsdale near Via Linda and Shea Boulevard. Neighborhoods offer a variety of home styles that include waterfront homes on Lake Serena, town homes, private patio homes, tennis villas and spacious single-family homes.

Within Scottsdale Ranch is the Scottsdale Ranch Community Center which offers a lovely patio with great views of Lake Serena and the McDowell Mountains. Inside the center is a large glass-enclosed area with high ceilings and a cozy fireplace. From the Community Center, you can board a pontoon boat for a cruise along the shoreline of Lake Serena.

Probably the most popular amenity within Scottsdale Ranch is Scottsdale Ranch Park, a 42-acre park located in a multigenerational area that also includes the Via Linda Senior Center, Desert Garden, Laguna Elementary School, and the Piper Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. Park amenities include a tennis center with 12 lighted tennis courts, 4 lighted racquetball courts, 1 lighted squash court, 6 lighted sand volleyball courts, 1 lighted full basketball court and 2 lighted half basketball courts, 2 lighted baseball fields (4 including the 2 baseball fields at Laguna Elementary School), 6 picnic ramadas and a 12-station exercise course.
