Angela J. Dancisak has been selling luxury real estate in Paradise
Valley, Scottsdale and Phoenix for 2 years with Russ Lyon Sotheby’s
International Realty, after moving from Chicago, where she started a
real estate investment career in 2001. Angela’s first exposure to the
business world began shortly after High School, where she worked in her
father’s State Farm Insurance office in 1985. She obtained an Associates
Degree from Purdue University in 1988. Upon graduation, she joined a
Commodity Futures and Options trading firm and continued her education
at Northwestern University. In 1992, she obtained her Series 3 license
and worked on the trading floors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and
Board of Options Exchange (Chicago Stock Exchange) for a mid-sized
Commodity Trading Advisor. In 1996, she joined the retail division of
Smith Barney, but decided to go back to the Commodities brokerage
business in 1998, where she worked as a Commodities analyst and executed
orders on behalf of institutional clients for ED&F Mann
International.
After 12 years in the highly competitive Commodities markets, she
parlayed her marketing and sales skills into Real Estate Investment
Trusts in downtown Chicago. In addition to working in the residential
market, she also assisted numerous Fortune 500 corporations and
individuals in the negotiation and representation of commercial sales
and leases.
Angela has been actively involved with fundraising efforts on behalf of
Catholic Charities USA since 1991, donating her time and resources to
the homeless, domestic violence victims and has contributed to numerous
disaster relief projects. Moreover, she has been a member of the Junior
League Society (Chicago Chapter) since 1996. She continues to support
numerous governmental advocacy projects and fundraisers on both local
and federal levels. Angela continues to be an active member in the
development and mentorship programs for the Young Professional Society
Project that was established in Chicago over 20 years ago.
